Many people have this doubt that whether the tabs are a type of computer, or they are some kind of smart phone. Tabs look very similar to the mobile phones and quite different from the computers because when a word computer is heard the mind shows up with pictures of a desktop computer with having a monitor, CPU, and keyboard etc.

These components are the essential parts of the tab and without these components the tab is nearly useless. - Touch screen The Tablet computer has a feature that was never a part of any generation or type of computer and was firstly seen in the tablet computers is the touch screen. It is an important part as well as an important feature of the tablet computers and after the difference in size it is the biggest difference between all other types of computers and a tablet computer. The screen of a tablet computer is touch sensitive and works according to the touch there is no need of keyboard and mouse even these tabs are smaller than a keyboard. So, by touching your finger om the screen you can open close or perform any kind of task on the tablet with very ease. A keypad appears on the screen in order to type the user can touch the keys and the computer will start writing.
- Buttons As there were buttons on the previous generations of computers similarly there are buttons on the tabs too. The previous generations include computers that had start, restart, brightness control and shutdown buttons on their CPU, but in case of the tablet computers the matter is quite different it only has few buttons on it near about three. These buttons are named as home button, voice control button, and the shut down button. The home button is usually down in the middle of the screen.
